General Manager – Nashville, TN

Full-Time | Up to $80K BOE | Commercial Aviation | Below-the-Wing Operations

CornerStone Professional Placement is partnering with a premier airline services provider to hire a General Manager for their Nashville, TN operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned leader with a strong below-the-wing (BTW) background to join a respected and growing organization in the commercial aviation space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct the daily operations of the station, ensuring performance goals are met across financial, customer service, and operational areas.
• Lead the station’s Safety Management System (SMS) and maintain alignment with all local safety plans.
• Ensure compliance with all FAA, TSA, and airline Service Level Agreements (SLAs) .
• Oversee Quality Assurance efforts, identifying and resolving safety and service issues with corrective/preventative actions.
• Provide ongoing training and retraining for team members on procedures, safety, and company policies.
• Serve as the point of contact for airport and airline partners, FAA officials, and internal leadership.
• Manage performance, coach team members, and lead employee relations efforts.
• Submit reports to both FAA and internal stakeholders on operations and compliance.
• Conduct service audits and analyze trends to ensure excellence.
• Maintain safety standards by ensuring access to PPE, safe equipment , and appropriate resources.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of aviation industry general management experience
• Proven below-the-wing operational background (ramp, baggage, cargo, or ground services)
• Strong leadership and employee development skills
• Excellent communication with internal teams and external partners
• Must have dependable transportation to/from the airport
• Experience managing schedules, leading teams, and enforcing safety protocols
