Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a CAD Model Engineer to join their team. As a CAD Model Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic engineering team supporting innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CAD Model Engineer
Location: Austin, TX
Pay Range: $32 per hour
Contract : 4 months

What's the Job?

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D CAD models and technical drawings for various engineering projects.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure models meet project specifications and requirements.
• Perform simulations and analyses to validate design concepts and identify potential issues.
• Revise and update models based on feedback from engineers and other stakeholders.
• Assist in the development and implementation of CAD standards and best practices.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a CAD Model Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as Unigraphics/NX (preferred), AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
