Job Summary: As the Rigging and Crane Operations Supervisor at JTS, you will oversee all rigging and crane-related activities to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant movement of heavy equipment and materials across the job site. This leadership role requires advanced technical knowledge in rigging and crane operations, strong supervisory skills, and a proactive approach to safety, inspection, and quality control. You will be responsible for managing rigging and crane crews, coordinating lift plans, and ensuring all operations align with regulatory standards and project requirements.

- Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily rigging and crane operations, ensuring adherence to lift plans and safety protocols
- Oversee the setup, inspection, and operation of cranes and rigging equipment
- Review and approve critical lift plans, ensuring proper load calculations and rigging configurations
- Conduct and document pre-use and periodic inspections of cranes, rigging gear, and lifting devices
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and safety personnel to plan and execute complex lifts
- Lead safety briefings, job hazard analyses (JHAs), and toolbox talks for rigging and crane crews
- Monitor field operations to ensure compliance with OSHA, ASME B30, and company safety standards
- Identify and address equipment deficiencies, procedural deviations, and training needs
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, lift plans, and incident reports
- Mentor and train rigging and crane personnel to promote skill development and safety awareness
Qualifications & Experience: - High School Diploma or GED (required); technical or vocational training in rigging/crane operations (preferred)
- Valid Advanced Rigging Certification (required)
- Valid NCCCO Crane Operator Certification (required)
- OSHA 30 Certification (required)
- Minimum 4 years of experience(7yrs experience preferred) in rigging and crane operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of lift planning, load charts, and rigging configurations
- Proficient in reading blueprints, lift plans, and technical schematics
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proven track record of maintaining a safe and compliant work environment
