*Location:* Moscow, ID
*Pay:* Starting at $23.00/hour, DOE
*Schedule:* Full-Time, MondayFriday, with occasional on-call weekends

We're looking for a skilled *Mechanic* to join our Shop team in Moscow, Idaho. *What Youll Do*
* Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on refuse and recycling trucks, heavy equipment, forklifts, and other machinery
* Inspect and test equipment to ensure it operates safely and efficiently
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with minimal supervision
* Maintain clean and organized workspaces and tools
* Collaborate with team members and communicate professionally with supervisors
* Complete documentation and maintenance reports accurately and on time
* Perform light welding and fabrication as needed
* Follow all safety protocols and support a safety-first work culture

*What Were Looking For*

*Required:*
* High school diploma or equivalent
* CDL (or willingness to obtain one)
* Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel trucks and heavy equipment
* Familiarity with hand and power tools, must have your own basic hand tools
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Flexibility to work on-call weekends as part of a rotating schedule
* Valid drivers license, clean background check, and pre-employment drug test

*Preferred:*
* Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in heavy equipment repair
