We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with various types of heavy equipment. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will work in a dynamic environment, utilizing their expertise to troubleshoot issues and perform necessary repairs.

*Responsibilities*

* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including but not limited to excavators, bulldozers, and forklifts.
* Diagnose mechanical issues using OEM specifications
* Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake adjustments, and hydraulic system repairs.
* Utilize welding techniques to repair or fabricate components as needed.
* Inspect equipment for safety compliance and operational efficiency.
* Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on each piece of equipment.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects and minimize downtime.
* Stay updated on new technologies and methods in heavy equipment repair.

*Experience*

* Proven experience in heavy diesel maintenance and automotive repair is required.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
