Mechanic - Forklift
Our client, a manufacturing leader in Appleton, WI, is seeking a Forklift Mechanic to join their team. As a Forklift Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Mechanic

Location: Appleton, WI

Pay Range: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Shift: Day Shift, schedule to be determined

What's the Job?

• Perform routine maintenance on all powered industrial vehicles (PIVs) according to manufacturer specifications.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with PIVs to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Conduct thorough inspections of PIVs to identify potential problems and address them proactively.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on each PIV, including maintenance schedules and parts inventory.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize and complete repair tasks in a timely manner to minimize downtime.

What's Needed?

• Proven experience in maintaining forklifts and roll clamps.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to train other maintenance personnel and PIV operators.
