Akkodis is seeking an IT Support Technician (Field Technician) for a 24 Months contract position with a client located in Mason, OH. Ideally looking for applicants with a strong working knowledge or familiarity with network configurations, operating systems like Windows, macOS, Linux, and IT security protocols comes as a plus.

• Experienced 2 to 4 years exp or more, have some certs, Not to Exceed PAY RATE: $26.00/hour

Job Description:

• Degree AA or BS is good, but not required. Certs help and good experience working in corporate environment.
• Experience in technical support, customer service, or a similar role.
• Knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.
• Familiarity with network configurations, operating systems like Windows, macOS, Linux, and IT security protocols.
• Provides technical assistance to users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues on desktop computers, laptops, and various peripheral devices.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software, ensure system performance and security, and evaluations on new software and hardware.
• Also respond to service requests and document solutions to common problem.
• Effective communication skills are essential as they often interact directly with end-users to resolve technical issues.
• Also provide technical assistance and training to users to maximize the value of technology in business.
