Summer Intern

Jefferson Healthcare ( is currently hiring a Workforce Development Summer Intern . This is a paid intern position that requires a minimum of 180 hours. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in a healthcare setting, develop professional skills, and learn about the often unseen aspects of hospital management.

This is a temporary, non-exempt position, and will remain open until filled .

The compensation for this internship is $20.98/Hour. This compensation includes a 15% increase of base wages in lieu of benefits.

In this role, you will :

• Assist with management and updates to the departments SharePoint site, ensuring current and accurate content
• Support the Learning Management System (LMS) by uploading course materials, tracking attendance, and helping with system organization.
• Take meeting minutes and notes during education planning sessions and team meetings.
• Perform scanning, filing, and electronic organization of training documents, certifications and records.
• Help prepare orientation materials and packets for new hires or trainees.
• Provide general administrative support to the Workforce Development and Clinical Education team as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 Years Old
• High School diploma required
• Current Enrollment in or a recent graduate of a healthcare, business, or related college program
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
