We are currently looking for a Painter/ Powder Coater –2nd Shift for our Miamisburg, OH location.

This position is responsible for setting up and operate equipment used to paint, powder coat and silk screening components made from steel, aluminum, and stainless steel and to assure that the parts are being produced to the drawing specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Blueprint reading and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements

• Sets up and operate equipment and/or machinery used in the painting and/or powder coat and silk-screening process
• Understands paint/powder coat procedures and successfully demonstrates ability to control speed, air pressure, air circulation and flow of spray of coatings and paints
• Perform visual inspections of parts to determine proper paint flow and coating quality
• Select appropriate coatings, paints, or sprays and prepares them by mixing substances according to formulas, using paint mixing equipment
• Verifies conformance of finished work piece to customer specifications
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment following all safety standards and requirements
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks as required

Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• 3 years’ experience
• Blueprint reading
• Operating basic metrology instruments (calipers, micrometers, ruler, and height gauge)
• Basic math skills
