At Klamath Basin Behavioral Health (KBBH), we don’t just care about quality—we live it. Our mission to share the power of mental well-being depends on people like you: curious thinkers, collaborative leaders, and purpose-driven problem-solvers who want their work to matter.
As the Quality and Performance Improvement Manager, you’ll lead a team that empowers staff, improves systems, and enhances client experiences through data-informed, trauma-aware, people-first practices. You won’t just track quality—you’ll build it.

What you’ll lead and deliver
In your first 12-24 months, you will:

  • Design and drive agency-wide improvement initiatives that create meaningful, measurable impact
  • Coach and lead a team of analysts who support departments in turning data into action
  • Partner across departments to embed continuous improvement into daily workflows and long-term goals
  • Facilitate collaborative problem-solving that strengthens client outcomes and system performance
  • Develop and track performance measures that support strategic priorities, compliance, and culture
  • Help cultivate a learning environment where continuous improvement is expected—and celebrated
You’re a strong match if you:
  • Thrive in fast-paced, mission-driven environments
  • Translate data and trends into people-centered solutions
  • Understand that how we lead change is as important as what we change
  • Build trust and clarity in high-stakes, cross-functional projects
  • Use evidence-based frameworks (Lean, PDSA, root cause analysis, etc.) to create lasting improvements
  • Balance precision, empathy, and systems thinking in your work
What you bring
Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in health informatics, business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of healthcare or behavioral health experience
  • 3+ years managing quality, data, or performance improvement projects
  • Demonstrated leadership and team supervision experience
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills
  • Effective communication, coaching, and facilitation skills
Preferred:
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Lean Six Sigma certification
  • Experience with Tableau, R, Python, SQL, or other statistical software
  • Familiarity with process modeling, simulation, or advanced statistical methods
Why work at KBBH
  • People-first culture - We build a safe, supportive, and inclusive workplace for staff and clients
  • Mission-driven work - Help strengthen the systems that support compassionate, individualized care
  • Career growth - Be part of a growing agency committed to professional development and innovation
  • Excellent benefits - Full benefits package, generous time off, and flexible scheduling options
