About the Role
The Company is in search of a Senior SBA Credit Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing the credit analysis and administration teams, with a focus on recruitment, development, and performance management. This role is pivotal in serving as the designated credit product expert for Small Business Administration (SBA) Lending, and the Senior SBA Credit Officer will be responsible for developing and overseeing department financial goals related to credit quality, volume, and risk distribution. Key responsibilities for the Senior SBA Credit Officer include providing expert recommendations on loan structure, terms, risk rating, and pricing, as well as presenting loans to various management committees for approval. The role also involves ensuring the implementation and monitoring of credit policies and procedures to maintain asset quality and manage credit risk effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in credit analysis, be adept at working with commercial lenders, and have experience in representing the company in communications with regulators and external parties. Participation in various bank committees is also a part of the role, and the candidate should be prepared to delegate assignments and balance workloads to meet customer expectations.
