Job Scope: + Assist with Network modernization, transformations, cloud network implementations, etc. + Decouple complexities of existing network to evaluate and recommend new technologies + Lead projects, maintain network performance/infrastructure, update technical documentation + Focus on cloud solutions, wireless upgrades, enhanced network security functions, etc. Major Projects: + Firewall Refresh (2 Facilities - HA/High-Availability Firewalls, likely Cisco) - also run Palo Alto and Fortinet + Edge Router Replacements (across 15 different sites for WAN provider) + Wireless HA Failovers at each facility (5G Failover for any SD-WAN outages) + Wireless Network Hardening / Segmentation (Security) Requirements Top Skills: + Network Architecture + Cloud Networking Experience (Azure Cloud Network) + Wireless Network Solutions + Broad Network Vendor Background + Firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet) + Router/Switch Upgrades + Network Security (Hardening, Patching, Segmentation, High Availability) + CCIE-level Network Expert (other certs like CCNA or CCNP would suffice, just want high-level network background) + Must be flexible to support any network projects, ops, or outages that take place during off-hours + Network Protocols + High-Availability Failovers + VoIP/Telecom Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
